Last to Leave

Over the course of three mornings, I tried to capture the light just as it peaked through a break in the canopy. The effect only lasted a few minutes. By the third morning, most of the leaves had fallen. On two of the mornings, clouds blocked the sun just as it was in the right position. I’m not complaining. I got to hang out in a beautiful place on three of the nicest Fall days imaginable.
