Ancient Forces

Painted during Plein Air Grand Marais 2016. Lake Superior and its surrounding landscape is one of my favorite places to paint. Every year I look forward to the Grand Marais Plein Air and most years I also make it up to West Bearskin Lake on the Canadian border to paint for a week in late January.
